Terms of service
These terms govern the use of “uradori” (the “service”) provided by Shimbo Jun (the “operator”). By using the service you agree to these terms.
1. What the service is
A requester submits an AI answer, and a responder registered by the operator returns, for each claim the requester selected (a checkable statement in the AI’s reply), a verdict of OK / NG / Undetermined and a comment. The service is information provision only. It is not individual legal, tax, medical or investment advice, a diagnosis, or an expert opinion for a specific case.
For health requests the service provides, at most: whether the AI’s medical information is correct as general knowledge, general guidance on how urgent it is and which kind of care to seek, the general meaning of test results or terms, and questions to ask your treating doctor. It never provides an individual diagnosis, decisions to start, stop or change a treatment, or instructions about prescriptions or doses.
2. Requests we do not accept
The following are declined automatically at intake or at the operator’s discretion, and are not charged:
- A judgment on an individual legal case (reserved by law to attorneys)
- Individual investment advice on specific financial instruments (reserved by law to registered advisers)
- Anything involving an emergency (contact your country’s emergency services instead of waiting for a request)
Individual health and tax cases are answered only by responders the operator has verified as physicians or certified tax accountants.
3. Accounts and requests
- Each request has a status page reachable through a link with a per-request access key. Do not share the link.
- Buying credits and paying for requests requires an account identified by your email address. You sign in through a link we email you.
- Requests created through an AI assistant’s extension (a plugin or connector) are subject to these terms as well.
4. Fees and payment (prepaid credits)
- The fee is a per-claim rate set by the operator (practitioner $1 / licensed professional $2 per claim; ¥150 / ¥300 in Japanese) multiplied by the number of claims you ask to have checked (1–5), as shown on the price screen. The currency follows the display language: Japanese yen for Japanese, US dollars for English.
- You pay with prepaid credits. You buy a pack ($5 / $10 / $30 / $100, or ¥750 / ¥1,500 / ¥4,500 / ¥15,000) by credit card through a payment service provider (“top-up”), and the fee for a request is deducted from your credits when you choose a price and request.
- Credits are valid for 6 months from the date of the top-up (issue). Unused credits are forfeited after that date. We email you 14 days before credits expire.
- Unused credits are not refunded to your card, except if the service is discontinued.
- If no verdict arrives by the deadline (2 hours from payment inside the intake hours for health requests, 48 hours otherwise), the fee for that request returns to your wallet as credits automatically (not to your card). Returned credits are valid for 6 months from the date they are returned.
- Before a responder has claimed your request you may cancel by emailing jingzow@gmail.com; the fee returns as credits. After a claim, and after delivery, no cancellation or refund is possible. The operator may refund, as credits, at its discretion.
5. Nature of the answers; no warranty
- Verdicts are the personal view of the responder. The operator does not warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any answer.
- Health answers check general medical information and indicate what kind of care to seek; they are not a diagnosis, treatment or medication instruction. The responder is a physician licensed in Japan, not a doctor practising in the country you are in. If it feels life-threatening, contact your country’s emergency services instead of waiting for the answer.
- Tax answers check the AI’s explanation, not your individual tax liability. Legal answers are not legal advice on an individual case.
- You use the answers at your own risk.
6. Prohibited conduct
- Submitting another person’s personal data without their consent
- Harassing or impersonating responders or the operator, or otherwise abusing the service (including automated bulk requests)
- Soliciting responders for direct transactions
- Presenting an answer to third parties as the opinion of the responder or the operator
7. Responders
Responders are registered by the operator by hand; there is no self-signup. A practitioner is activated only after the operator has checked their identity, evidence of at least three years of work in the field and a trial request; licensed professionals are verified against public registers. Responders must not disclose transcripts to third parties and give their verdicts independently of the operator. Payouts are paid net of the operator’s take rate, closed at month end and paid at the end of the following month.
8. Limitation of liability
Except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, the operator’s liability is limited to the amount the requester paid for the request concerned.
9. Changes to or discontinuation of the service
The operator may change or discontinue the service. On discontinuation, unused credits are refunded through the original payment method or another method the operator designates.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance. If you are a consumer outside Japan, nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the mandatory laws of your country of residence, including the right to bring a claim before the courts of that country.
11. Changes to these terms
The operator may revise these terms. Revised terms take effect when posted on the site.
